 In order to attach the master cylinder to the caliper(s), the durit kits include flexible pipes called “braided durits” as well as connectors made of bronze or other colors:
The durit can be made out of rubber or metal braid.
Durits made out of rubber frequently have a spongy behavior due to the pressure that is exercised.
Durits by SEMC are mad out of a heart of Teflon and an exterior braid stainless (inalterable material). The exterior is covered by a transparent layer for UV-protection. The durit kits (factory standard or easy durit) respect, and are made under strict norms of production and quality assurance.
All our durits are sheathed in order not to chafe the body of your motorbike.
There are 4 types of kits for the front wheel of the motor bike :
• 3 durit like factory standard,
• 2 durit, mounted directly onto the master cylinder to the calipers of the brake
• 2 durit, connected from the master cylinder to a caliper and from one caliper to another
(like Suzuki),
• 1 durit for mountings onto a mono disc.
A durit kit normally contains the following
:
• screws for oil passage,
• seals made out of copper,
• a system for fast and effective purging,
• one bottle of breaking liquid DOT4,
• durits,
• bolts.
For the rear of your motor bike, the kit consists of a single durit.

Different approaches for an assemblies are possible :
• Durits assembled by hand: The durit is sold with everything complete. Your dealer has to assemble the entire durit kit. This technique can also be used for some very specific needs such as cross, side cars, cars, etc. The assembly is possible in chrome or any color listed above. In regarding Motocross customers, we do not advise the use of colored connectors because they are more fragile, and less resistant to violent shocks.
• Factory standard durits GOLDLINE : This new exclusive line is ready to be used. You only have to do a purge. These durits are only sold with ferrules carbon look.Very low price with great look !
• Easy durit : This is a new product, easy and fast assembled. You have the choice of (…) color (blue, red, purple, or gray), screw color (blue, red, purple, or gray), and pliant color (transparent, blue, red, apple-green). |
